This is for all the Brooklyn Nets fans out there who are feeling the same sort of disappointment and disbelief as I am. Our team is about to miss the playoffs in the Eastern Conference (I am just mentally preparing myself for that) and do not even have their own lottery pick to fall back on. My NBA Notebook is back just in time for the All-Star Break! I will use this notebook format to quickly touch on various topics from around the Association. Sorry ZML fans, I know it’s been a while. On this notebook page I will touch on four topics: All-Star Weekend, players I am 99 percent sure will be traded before the February 19 deadline and the Hack-A-Player. Continue reading

The NBA is two and half weeks away from getting all of my attention for the next six months. The NFL seasons has three huge games left, and at least two of those game guarantee to be some of the best games of the year. The name to know from this year’s team is DeMarcus (Boogie) Cousins, who Continue reading

Yes, the headline is intended to mimic the “MJ Being MJ” headline from last week when Michael Jordan took to Twitter to show his competitive nature is still alive and well. Charlotte Hornets guard Lance Stephenson was at his antics again last night when he video bombing new New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher after a 96-93 Knickerbocker win. Continue reading

As a new NBA season approaches the 2015 NBA Playoffs seem so far away. Everyone across the Internet is doing power rankings and prediction, but why is no one going all the way and predicting who will win each division and where everyone will fall in the playoffs? That’s why I decided to do it, and each team comes with a key to success (either to be successful this season or successful for their future). Continue reading
